R.L. Stine is looking to scare viewers young and old this Halloween. The latest adaptation of the titan of pre-teen terror is making its streaming (and screaming) debut today, and it won't cost you a thing. R.L. Stine's Pumpkinhead is now streaming for free on Tubi. Pumpkinhead (no relation to Stan Winston 's 1988 directorial debut ) centers around Sam and Finn, two brothers who move to the rural community of Redhaven with their widowed mother. Redhaven, where "the harvest never ends," is pretty spooky; the people are unfriendly and there are creepy scarecrows everywhere.

Creepiest of all is elderly farmer Palmer, who's bizarrely protective of his prize pumpkins. Sam, still embittered over his father's death, steals one of them, prompting Finn to return it...but Finn never
