The government shutdown means the U.S. Navy's Blue Angels will not be flying at the 2025 Wings Over North Georgia Airshow.
The Blue Angels have been practicing all week in hopes of flying in the show, but Thursday's failure to approve a budget in congress is forcing the Blue Angels to skip this year's show.

The US Navy Blue Angels will not be at the annual event in Rome, because of the ongoing shutdown.
"The Blue Angels not coming was the big disappointment. They are still wanting to come as we speak,” said John Cowman, President of Wings Over Georgia Airshow.
The airshow will continue and feature civilian performers in the air and on the ground with many sponsors, exhibits, musical performance
