Four graduates of Joplin Schools were celebrated Thursday night with induction into the Alumni Hall of Fame for their career and community service accomplishments.
In addition, a meritorious award was given in honor of the late Jack Holden, a former teacher and announcer known for his involvement and leadership in education and community roles. The street that enters the Joplin High School complex was named for Holden because of his work with students, faculty and the community. ×
