ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) -The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department launched a new experience on social media Friday.
It is called “Second Seater,” which, through a series of pictures and videos, showed people what officers respond to.
The social media campaign ran from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday night.
The project was created not just to give the community a first-hand look at the work officers do, but also the department said it hopes campaigns like this can serve as a way to recruit more officers to the force.
