A human head and torso were found in a trash bag outside a Brooklyn home early Friday morning, police said.

The body parts were left lying on a sidewalk near 557 E. 21st St. in Flatbush and discovered at 9:14 a.m.

According to sources, 311 was first called with complaints of a “foul odor” coming from apartment 6F before the call was rerouted to 911 to police. 5

Police responded and determined the remains belonged to a dead man, authorities said.

The building super allegedly saw the boyfriend of the dead man dumping the bags outside the location before the body was found, sources said.. 5

The city Office of Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death or who the remains belong to, police said.

The investigation remains ongoing.
