SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – At least 11 cities across South Dakota will be holding No Kings rallies on Saturday to protest the Trump Administration.
Thousands of protests are scheduled nationally for October 18. According to USA Today, the first No Kings protest on June 14 drew between two and four million people.
The Sioux Falls protest will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Phillips Avenue outside the federal courthouse. On Friday, police were adding barricades so protesters can’t block traffic.
"This is going to be a gathering of America-loving people that want to make sure our democracy succeeds," volunteer coordinator Andrew Cedergren told KELOLAND News.
In June, the first No Kings protest in Brookings saw a few hundred people, according to Brookings Area Indivisible chair Brenda Anderson. Di
