TOLEDO, Ohio — After more than four decades of caring for animals across northwest Ohio, Alan Moore, a longtime veterinarian at Trilby Animal Hospital, closed his clinic on Friday.
Moore, who has served the Toledo community for over 40 years, said the decision to close came after a recent illness.
“I have to close, and I regret having to do that, but it’s kind of time for me to retire,” Moore said.
Throughout his career, Moore became a trusted name for generations of pet owners, building lasting relationships with clients and their animals.
“It’s nice establishing some rapport with clients and their animals, and it kind of brings it out every day that I come to work,” Moore said. “You get to see different animals, and to see them improve if they’re ill, and to be able to help them out
