Frederick City Council installs barrier to prevent people from approaching the dais

Frederick's City Council has added a new red-taped stanchion in front of the dais where council members sit, preventing people at meetings from approaching them.

The move was made out of security concerns for elected officials and city employees, said City Council President Katie Nash on Friday.
