Lydia L. Procaccini, 71, of Clarence Street, Cranston, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025, in her home.

She was the devoted wife of the late John “Otto” Procaccini.

She was born in Providence, a daughter of the late John V. and Dolores (Russo) Silvestri. She had lived in Cranston, previously living in Providence and Smithfield.

Lydia had worked in the jewelry industry for many years before finding her true calling, working as a caregiver. Lydia had lived a life defined by compassion and generosity. As a beloved aunt, she helped raise her nephew George Veader, and was like a second mother to her niece and nephew, Caryn and Kevin Cormier.

Lydia found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She will be remembered for her selflessness, her quick wit, and her sense of humor.
