TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A new place to start your mornings in Terre Haute will open on Saturday.

Parlor Doughnuts, located off Highway 41, will officially open on Saturday at 8 a.m.

Owners Jessica and D'Wan Ellington said they've been working on bringing a Parlor Doughnuts to Terre Haute for years.

Along with doughnuts, the shop will have morning drinks such as coffee.

The Ellingtons said their doughnuts won't be like anything else you can get in Terre Haute.

"The doughnuts are so unique, they're not like classic doughnuts", Jessica Ellington said. "You can love other local doughnut places and still love Parlor Doughnuts; it's not a competition, they're so different."
