ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — MVP Health Care is hosting 'Project Bundle Up' Saturday in Rochester, providing free winter coats to children.

The event will distribute 500 new coats in sizes ranging from infant to youth extra large on a first come, first served basis. A child must be present to receive a coat, but no registration is required.

In addition to the coat giveaway, families are invited to the 'Bundle Up Bash,' which will feature activities such as giveaways, cider and fried cakes, and a balloon twister.

The event will take place at Parcel 5 from 11 AM to 2 PM or until the coats run out.

The initiative aims to ensure that children in Rochester are prepared for the winter season with warm clothing, while also providing a fun community event for families.
