Blue Jays' star slugger aligns perfectly with the Angels' needs

While the Toronto Blue Jays are in the playoffs, it is still worth considering what their future might look like. The club is at risk of losing star shortstop Bo Bichette this offseason.

Bichette will become a free agent when the season comes to an end, and could generate quite a market. He is coming off a year where he played in 139 regular-season games, hitting .311/.357/.483 with 18 home runs and 94 runs batted in.

He is one of the best-hitting shortstops in the league, and that can partially cover some of the mistakes he makes on the defensive side of things. Bichette is also just 27 years old, so he still has plenty of prime years left.
