LONDON, Ky. (WKYT) — Five months after a deadly tornado ripped through southern Kentucky, families are still picking up the pieces of their lives and rebuilding.
Some are just about ready to move into new homes. Others are still waiting.
Rebuilding underway in Sunshine Hills
Rebuilding is well underway in a handful of homes in Sunshine Hills, one of the most devastated areas where the tornado came through five months ago.

The Wilsons have a brand new home they are putting the finishing touches on. They did not have insurance, but numerous people, including a group of Mennonites, have helped them. People came from across Kentucky and even other states to help build. Their home was destroyed and their lot had to be bulldozed.
