EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Rhode Island native Aria Mia Loberti is an actress, activist, and now, children's book author.

Loberti is from Johnston and attended the University of Rhode Island. She made her acting debut back in 2023 when she starred in the limited series "All the Light We Cannot See" on Netflix. The show was an adaptation of the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel of the same name by Anthony Doerr.

Throughout her journey from college to acting, Loberti has had her guide dog Ingrid by her side.

In an exclusive interview with 12 News, Loberti shared more about her most recent project, authoring the children's book "I Am Ingrid" which will be released on Oct. 21.
