WARRENSBURG, Mo. — The lone survivor of a horrible crash that killed several of her family members reunited with some of the people who helped save her life Friday.

Alex Moffett, who was 19 years old at the time of the crash, traveled to Kansas City last summer from Colorado with her sister, father and grandmother with plans to attend a Chris Stapleton concert.

They were heading back from lunch in Warrensburg on Highway 50 when a 16-year-old driver, asleep at the wheel according to the Missouri Highway Patrol, left the road, went airborne and struck their SUV.

Her father, Derek, and grandmother Patricia Moffett were killed instantly. Her sister, Catherine, died at the hospital after donating her organs.
