PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Eighty-eight talented student musicians make up the Quakertown Panther Marching Band, led by director Rachael Urquhart.
"I was the middle school band director for six years, and now I'm at the high school," Urquhart said. "I feel so lucky that I've taught some of these students for four or five years and watched them grow into the amazing people they are."
For these dedicated students, commitment to their craft stems from discipline - and a deep love of music.
"It's sort of just like a universal language," said junior Aiden Myers. "It's cool. I can meet up with people and just play with them, never having talked or rehearsed with them before."
This year, they've crafted a unique competition piece.
"We're all basically chess pieces, and it kind of builds to this
