Dauphin County officials on Friday outlined their preparations for the upcoming Nov. 4 municipal election during a news briefing at the county’s Bureau of Registration and Elections in Harrisburg.

Officials highlighted security measures, mail ballot procedures, and voting machinery that will be used during the election.

Commissioner Mike Pries and Elections Director Chris Spackman led the briefing, which aimed to reassure voters of the county’s readiness and commitment to a secure and efficient election.

Reporters were given a behind-the-scenes look at the county’s Logic and Accuracy (L&A) testing of voting machines, a required step to ensure all machines are functioning properly before Election Day.
