UPDATE: Emergency responders are on the scene at the rock quarry at Greenway Farms in Hixson following reports of a possible drowning.

Hamilton County EMS, the Chattanooga Fire Department, Chattanooga Police Department, and several other agencies are on scene. Authorities are urging the public to avoid the area to allow crews to work safely and efficiently.
