BATH TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WLNS) — Residents are reacting to a small plane crash in a Bath Township that killed three people Thursday evening.
Clark Road, next to the crash site, has been blocked off. Local officials say the length of the closure remains undetermined, as the Federal Aviation Administration is still investigating the cause of the crash.
6 News spoke to a few people in the area, like Jacob Jackward, who says he was at work when he heard the crash and says he never heard of anything like this happening in his small town.
"Someone came in. They said they were out in the woods hunting and said they saw it barrel rolling down to the ground,” said Jackard. “At first, he thought it might've been like a military plane or something. Turns out it was a private jet."
