The Michigan Wolverines fell to the Cincinnati Bearcats, 100-98, in an exhibition at Crisler Center on Friday. After trailing, 52-34, at halftime, Dusty May’s team tried to mount a comeback but came up just short.

Cincinnati jumped out to an early lead before Roddy Gayle Jr. hit a three-pointer and a reverse layup to get Michigan on the board and cut the deficit to 7-5. Just moments later, Elliot Cadeau found Yaxel Lendeborg for a triple to take an 11-7 lead.

Cadeau continued to fuel the Wolverines’ offense, getting into the lane over and over. After getting fouled and making a pair of free throws, Cadeau slipped into the paint and connected with Lendeborg for an alley-oop to get the crowd going.
