Notre Dame High School held its annual Women of Impact event Friday at the Signia Hotel in San Jose.

The event honors women leaders who graduated from the school and other female leaders making an impact in the community.

NBC Bay Area's Jessica Aguirre served as the master of ceremonies for the event.

Notre Dame High School is home to what is called the Center for Women Leadership, which prepares young girls to be the future leaders of the nation.

Notre Dame is an all-girls Catholic high school just south of downtown San Jose.

NBC Bay Area is a sponsor of the annual event.
