Three people were taken to a hospital after a small SUV collided with an Alameda-Contra Costa Transit bus on International Boulevard in Oakland on Friday morning, according to the transit agency.
Both vehicles were headed north on International near 98th Avenue when the SUV, which was in the right-hand lane, allegedly crossed all lanes of traffic and hit the right front bumper of the bus, a Tempo Line 1T coach that was in the center bus-only lane, according to AC Transit officials.
The bus sustained only minor damage.
The SUV's only occupant and three bus passengers asked for medical evaluations and were then taken to a hospital. An update on the extent of their injuries was not immediately available.
Bus service was not interrupted.
