HILO, Hawaii (Island News) -- A 23-year-old man was arraigned on child pornography charges in Hilo Circuit Court, with a jury trial scheduled next year.

Aceson Domingo of Waimea was arraigned in court on Oct. 10, 2025 for child porn charges. He was indicted on Oct. 6 for first-degree promoting child abuse, third-degree child abuse and promoting pornography for minors.

For the defendant’s most serious offense, first-degree promoting child abuse, the Class A felony carries a maximum prison sentence of 20 years.

Domingo was released on $35,000 following his arraignment under the condition that he cannot come into contact with any minors.

Domingo is scheduled for a jury trial which begins on Feb. 3, 2026.
