TUSCALOOSA, Ala. —

The Crimson Tide is set to face Tennessee this weekend at Bryant-Denny Stadium, continuing a storied rivalry that includes the tradition of smoking victory cigars.

"Every football player I've ever talked to has always talked about how one of their favorite moments as an athlete here was smoking a cigar after they beat Tennessee," said Reagan Starner of R&R Cigars

The tradition dates back about 60 years to when Bear Bryant was hired at Alabama.

"It was his first time beating Tennessee and they came in the locker room and they brought him cigars," explained Starner. "It's obviously changed a lot to now you'll have 100,000 fans in Bryant-Denny smoking cigars after the game."
