SPENCER COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) - One week after a tackle in the third quarter landed Jaquar Johnson at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis, he's back home and returned to the sidelines.

Johnson was airlifted from the game in Farmersburg and returned home just a few days later.

Now, he's recovering and under concussion protocol with no severe injuries to his spine.

Johnson says, "My main focus today is making sure every single one of my teammate feel my love and know that I'm here and supporting them."

One of the first to respond to Johnson was South Spencer's Athletic Trainer, Sheri Utz.

Utz was in constant communication with his family, overcome with emotions, and grateful he's back where he belongs.
