A routine traffic stop in Chino Hills led to the discovery of methamphetamine, a search of a nearby home and the arrest of three residents, authorities said.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the incident began around 4:38 p.m. on Oct. 16, when Deputy Lopez stopped a vehicle near Rolling Ridge Lane and Glen Ridge Drive for vehicle code violations. The car was occupied by Michael Aguilar, 35, and Tanya Camacho, 33, both of Chino Hills.
Deputies said a search of the vehicle uncovered methamphetamine and other evidence consistent with possession of narcotics for sale. During the investigation, they learned that Camacho’s two young children had been left at a nearby residence on Laguna Court with their grandmother, Mary Seila Rodriguez, 52.
