MOLINE, Ill. (KWQC) - Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker visited Moline to discuss the state’s Rebuild Illinois multi-year program on Friday and on the agenda are plans to upgrade downtown Moline.
The Rebuild Illinois program aims to use over $18 million in funding for projects to improve transit, rail, aviation and marine projects in the state.
As Quad Cities groups push for a passenger rail service to Chicago, local lawmakers said they hope today’s words get more leaders on board with the project.
