Ohtani’s three-homer night seals Dodgers’ NL Crown
The Los Angeles Dodgers ’ remarkable postseason run continues. Since 2020, the Dodgers have captured two World Series titles, including last year’s championship, and now find themselves atop the National League once again, awaiting their opponent in the 2025 World Series.
Los Angeles eliminated the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday night, completing a four-game sweep against the team that finished with the league’s best regular-season record. Shohei Ohtani led the way for the Dodgers, dominating both on the mound and at the plate.
As a pitcher, Ohtani tossed six shutout innings, allowing just two hits while striking out 10. As a hitter, he was even more impressive, launching three home runs and drawing a walk.
