JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The second No Kings Day’ protest is expected to be one of the largest national protest movements since President Trump took office.

More than 2,500 marches and rallies are planned across the countries, including several here in northeast Florida.

In Jacksonville, protestors are expected to be seen from every corner of the city on Saturday, October 18th, for the No Kings Day protest.

A peaceful national day of action in response to what organizers call “increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption” from the Trump administration.

Tyra Smude with Indivisible Jax Riverside, a nonpartisan group promoting democracy, tells First Coast News caravans from the Northside, Beaches, Mandarin and Riverside will drive to the Friendship fountain downtown.
