Tulsa Police are looking for the shooter in the city's 40th homicide of the year.

Officers say a 31-year-old man was shot and killed at Schlegel Park near West 53rd Place South and 38th West Avenue.

What happened

Police say they got a shots-fired call around 1 p.m. Friday afternoon, and when officers got there, they found Austin Williams dead, with a gunshot wound to the head and bullet casings next to his body.

Officers say they have surveillance video showing a confrontation between Williams and the suspect, who they say starts shooting and then runs away.

Police say it's too early to give a description of the shooter, and they are relying on the community to come forward with video or information.
