The Pirates and Lions clashed in a pivotal game in the district of doom that could determine playoff seeding in November.

Pine Tree is sitting at 4-3 with three more district games in the regular season including next week's matchup versus the Chapel Hill Bulldogs on Oct. 24 at 7:30 p.m.
