The Toronto Blue Jays dropped Game 5 against the Seattle Mariners, but they also witnessed George Springer suffer a brutal blow. Springer, who’s been a consistent hitter, remains questionable for Game 6. The Blue Jays’ star has always been in support of the team, and now Blue Jays fans are unhappy with the way things went down in Seattle.

At the top of the seventh inning, the Blue Jays were leading 2-1 when George Springer stepped up to the plate. Mariners pitcher Bryan Woo threw a 96 mph ball that hit Springer on his right knee. The Blue Jays slugger immediately dropped to the ground with excruciating pain.
