Lucknow is getting its own naval museum, the "Nausena Shaurya Sangrahalaya," being built by the Uttar Pradesh government in partnership with the Indian Navy near Ekana Stadium on 15,800 square meters at a cost of ₹23 crore. With 20% of construction complete, officials are now focusing on transporting naval artifacts for display.

Featuring digital history and open-air exhibits

The museum will showcase relics from INS Gomati, decommissioned in May 2022 after 34 years of service, along with a TU-142 Naval aircraft and SK-42B helicopter being relocated from INS Rajali in Tamil Nadu.
