The soap opera ‘General Hospital’ was the big winner at the 52nd Daytime Emmy Awards taking home seven wins. The 2025 edition of the awards, organised by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS), recognised the best in American daytime television programming for the year 2024.
Actor and television anchor Mario Lopez hosted the ceremony, held on Friday night at Pasadena Civic Auditorium, California. The annual event has been moved this year to October from the usual May or June period.
