Car market leader Maruti Suzuki India Ltd is set to record its highest-ever Dhanteras sales, with total deliveries expected to cross 50,000 units over the two-day festive period.

Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer (Marketing & Sales) at Maruti Suzuki, told India Today that the company has already delivered around 38,500 vehicles by Saturday evening and is likely to touch 41,000 units by the end of the day.

“This is going to be our all-time high Dhanteras performance. We expect another 10,000 customers to take delivery tomorrow, which will push our total deliveries past 51,000 units, nearly 10,000 more than last year’s record of 41,500,” Banerjee said.
