KENNEWICK, Wash. – Hubby's Pizza in Kennewick is back in business after an unexpected closure. The pizzeria had to shut its doors temporarily after a stolen car crashed into the restaurant early yesterday morning around 3 a.m.
Police reported that suspects attempted to steal cash from an ATM inside the building but were unsuccessful. They abandoned one stolen car in the parking lot and fled in another, which was later found burning three blocks away.
Despite the chaos, the team at Hubby's Pizza quickly resumed operations. Customers were seen coming in and out throughout the day, showing strong support for the local business.
