Rory McIlroy claimed his first professional play-off win in Asia just months after suffering a heart-breaking Masters collapse.
The world number two is aiming for another title in the continent this weekend at the inaugural staging for the India Championship .
His appearance once again comes after a notable Masters appearance for the Northern Irishman - who paraded the Green Jacket in front on Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar on Friday.
McIlroy completed the career Grand Slam at Augusta National back in April to end his 11-year wait for the achievement.
