Lucknow: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday flagged off the first batch of BrahMos missiles at the BrahMos Aerospace Production Unit in Uttar Pradesh's Lucknow under the 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' mission.

Singh was accompanied by Uttar Pradesh cm Yogi Adityanath on the occasion.

This comes months after Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that Brahmos missiles will now be manufactured in Lucknow.
