AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) — Families across the CSRA will have the chance to enjoy a festive holiday experience this December thanks to the SWAT Foundation’s Winter Wonderland event. "What we do is we actually provide Christmas assistance to families," founder Marquitta Rucker said. "We also provide winter essentials like coats, hats, gloves, scarves, anything that you think someone would need to stay warm." Families get to shop for gifts themselves. “We wanna make sure that we're giving people things that they actually want, something that their children will bring joy.”
