Attorney and North Alabama native Will Pylant is officially running for Huntsville City Council District 4. Pylant will be taking on incumbent Bill Kling, Jr., who has served on the council since 1988.

In a campaign kick-off announcement, Pylant explained what his areas of focus would be if elected to the office.

"Huntsville is booming — we're now the largest city in Alabama, and that's something to be proud of," Pylant said. "But when a city grows this fast, we have to make sure our infrastructure, schools and neighborhoods keep pace."

"My wife, Jaz, and I are raising our daughter, Abby, in the same city that raised me. Like so many young families, we care deeply about safe neighborhoods, strong schools, and a city government that listens and responds to the people it serves," he added
