The Astonishing Spider-Man i s the best Spider-Man book you've never heard of, because Marvel commissioned it in 1999 from author J. Scott Campbell and artist Jeph Loeb, only for it to be left unfinished to this day.

As reported by Popverse , Campbell and Marvel Editor-in-Chief C.B. Cebulski teased the unfinished Spider-Man story during the "Marvel Fanfare" panel at this year's New York Comic Con.
