That’s why I created the City Council Code of Ethics — to ensure accountability, civility and respect. It helped us focus on results not rhetoric.

This election season has brought misleading claims. One candidate is taking credit for actions that weren’t theirs. House Bill 1304 reduced parking requirements for housing near transit. As Longmont’s representative to the Denver Regional Council of Governments, I supported it after consulting with our transportation staff. It then went through the full council process, as all policies must. No single candidate “made it happen.”
