COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) issued a shelter-in-place order for a Colorado Springs neighborhood Friday night.

CSPD issued the shelter-in-place at 7:11 p.m. for law enforcement activity in the area around 4372 Montebello Drive, near North Academy Boulevard and Austin Bluffs Parkway.

Police asked those in the area to secure their homes and businesses, stay away from doors and windows and shelter in a safe place until further notice.
