A pub in a Cambridgeshire village has reopened after a mother and her son decided to take it over together. The Old Sun in Eaton Socon has been taken over by Sarah Ingham and her son, Kian, after seeing the pub was available. They described it as 'exactly' what they wanted to do.

Sarah had been looking for a pub after deciding her and her son wanted to run a sports pub together. Kian had been working in Greene King pubs for a few years.

She said: "The site is more of a drinking pub rather than a foodie pub. They have a small food offering but it's mainly aimed at sports and things like that. That was what I was looking for.
