Ange Postecoglou has been sacked as manager of Nottingham Forest after less than two months in charge.
Forest failed to win any of the eight games during the Australian’s 39-day tenure and sit 17th in the Premier League table after Saturday’s 3-0 home defeat to Chelsea.
Postecoglou replaced Nuno Espirito Santo only three games into the season after a dramatic – and very public – breakdown in relations between the Portuguese and Forest’s owner Evangelos Marinakis.
Sean Dyche looks to be the most likely candidate at the City Ground, having been out of work since being sacked by Everton in January of this year.
Rafael Benitez has also been linked, his most recent stint coming at Celta Vigo.
