While Ange Postecoglou bemoaned his decision to swap temporary digs for something more permanent in Nottingham, Sean Dyche need not move house.

Dyche has long lived in the area, with locals often spotting him around West Bridgford, be it shopping or dining a stone’s throw from Nottingham Forest’s City Ground.

That makes location a big green check, but that alone is not the reason why Dyche is the ideal Forest appointment, as more importantly he is the firefighter the club needs at a time of disarray.
