GOLD CANYON, Ariz. — The eastbound lanes of US 60 are closed near Gold Canyon after a crash that killed four people, according to authorities.
DPS said the crash is near milepost 205.
Crews with the Superstition Fire & Medical District said the two-vehicle crash happened just before midnight.
The fire department said crews arrived and found that one of the vehicles was on fire, and multiple people had been thrown from the vehicle.
Three people were pronounced dead at the scene, and one later died at the hospital.
Other details have not been released.
There is no estimate for when the roadway will reopen.
