The Central government has issued a notification transferring Justice Atul Sreedharan from the Madhya Pradesh High Court to the Allahabad High Court.

The notification, published by the Ministry of Law and Justice (Department of Justice, Appointments Division), states that the transfer has been made by the President of India under clause (1) of Article 222 of the Constitution of India , after consultation with the Chief Justice of India.

Justice Sreedharan has been directed to assume charge of his office as Judge of the Allahabad High Court upon his transfer.
