Bloomfield Borough Council adopted a long-term capital project strategy Oct. 7 after a presentation on accessibility upgrades to the municipal building, a second phase of park improvements and options to replace the closed Barnett Woods bridge.

Engineers from Herbert, Rowland and Grubic (HRG) outlined a five-year path that prioritizes fixing accessibility issues at the municipal building by reconstructing the front ramp, adding a limited-use/limited-application (LULA) elevator in the rear stairwell to connect floors, and replacing the aging side ramp with regrading and drainage work.
