IOWA CITY – Penn State’s brutal October continues.

The Nittany Lions, upset losers to UCLA and Northwestern earlier this month, lost starting quarterback Drew Allar to a season-ending injury against the Wildcats.

Now another one of Penn State’s players is dealing with an unspecified issue.

Starting offensive guard Vega Ioane, a second-team All-Big Ten pick last season, is listed as out on PSU’s Big Ten-mandated availability report for the Lions’ matchup with Iowa tonight at Kinnick Stadium.

The list of PSU players who are out against the Hawkeyes includes Allar, Ioane, linebacker Tony Rojas, and reserve edge rusher Jaylen Harvey.

Without Ioane, Penn State still has a couple of options.

Anthony Donkoh and TJ Shanahan can play guard.
